The Northeastern Ohio Live Steamers (NEOLS) was founded in 1969 on a site in Copley, Ohio. In 1998 a move to a new site was required. In 2001 the club completed an agreement with the Medina County (Ohio) Park District and began setting up on the Lester Rail Trail Park, which was part of the rails to trails conservancy and is a section of the former Baltimore & Ohio Railroad mainline between Cincinnati and Cleveland, Ohio. They currently have over 11,000 feet of 7 1/2″ ground track and an 1100 foot, dual guage, high line for 3/4″ and 1″ scale locomotives.
