Riverside live steamers is the only larg scale rairoad club in the United States that is dedicated exclusively to steam locomotives. We are a non-profit 501(c) tax deductible organization that operates a 7 1/2″ gauge railroad at Fairview Park in Costa Mesa, California. Officially known as, Mackerel Flats and Goat Hill Junction Railroad, the club was founded in 1988 by a group of local railroad buffs. The Bitter Creek Western Railroad (BCWRR) is a 7.5-inch gauge railroad located on the Nipomo Mesa just outside Arroyo Grande, CA about halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco along Highway 101.
